The curse of WAYNE Phenomenon

Hex? Jinx? Maledictiuon?

Can a name somehow be cursed? Why is it that so many serial killers, mass murderers, rapists and other criminals share this name? Iv'e been asking myself this for years. Why do I care?....
                                                         
                 My middle name is Wayne.

According to Chuck he had noticed in the early nineties that the middle name Wayne was strangely connected to gruesome crimes.

Some ten years later, author Steven LeWitt published an article for Freakonomics which also mentioned the middle name Wayne being connected to violent offenders. He dug deeper, and began publishing actual crime statistics.

John Wayne Gacy aka Killer Clown sexually assaulted and murdered at least 33 young boys and men between 1972 and 1978 in Cook County Illionois.

Those who knew Gacy believed he was a fine and outstanding member of society, A charming business man involved in politicts who even had his picture taken with then first lady Rosylnn Carter.



Gacy was a demented killer who share's the middle name Wayne with hundreds of other violent offenders.

Such as Elmer Wayne Henley. Henley is a sadistic American serial killer who was involved in what was considered at one time the deadliest case of serial murders in history. His chilling confession revealed that for years he helped procure no less than 28 teenage boys who were abducted, brutally raped, tortured and murdered.

Henley was paid $200 dollars per individual he could lure to their place where Dean Corril aka the Candy Man would commit the murders. Some of the victims were his OWN FRIENDS who would be raped and viciously murdered.

Why is it so many criminals share this middle name? Can names actually be cursed?




The power inside names and their numerical equivalents have been immortalized in poetry, apocrypha, religions, and occult ritual. A name is basically a grouping of letters in an alphabet that identifies and represents a person or object. Most people believe that to know the name of something is to have some degree of  control over that object, concept or person. Or could it be possible that the name has control over us?

 In the Torah it is said that God gave human beings the ability and power to name. Just as God separates light from darkness, and dry land from water, this biblical text affirms that humans - created in the image of God - may seek to bring order to our chaotic and dynamic world through the process of naming. The power of naming can be experienced in everyday lives from entering an important password giving one control over information and money, to the fact that nothing grabs the attrention of a misbehaving child more effectively than a parent, the bestower of the child's names - by calling him or her by their FIRST, MIDDLE and LAST nasmes.  

Incredibly it has been suggested that perhaps half the United States population who share the middle name Wayne have been convicted of a felony, a large percentage rape and murder. While this seems a high number, my knee jerk thoughts on this spur me to think of all the people I know personally who have this middle name. I can think of five people right off hand that I know. Each and every one of them have been convicted of a felony. That's one hundred percent of all the people I know who have the middle name Wayne. Check out this list of offenders!

While it seems the middle name Wayne can somehow trigger the criminal elements inside us all, could victims of crimes also share this same fate? I am reminded of the unusual fate of John Wayne Bobbit, who's wife cut off his penis with a kitchen knife and threw it out the window of her moving car, which was later found by police in a field and given to doctors which sewed it back on during a lengthy operation.

While researching this Wayne curse phenomenon I learned that people have written in to various articles with their own research and observations. The following is from someone in Atlanta Georgia:

As someone with the cursed middle name Wayne, I can state without equivocation that this is no statistical fluke. Whenever I read a crime report, or hear about one on TV, I cringe. Part of me wanting to hear it, the other part wanting it to go away, until the inevitable "Wayne" is read or seen.   

I live in Alabama. The Wayne phenomenon is as real here as it is in Dallas Texas. Here is what I have gathered from my 36 years of suffering:

 1) Most of the parents who give their child a middle name of Wayne come from a blue collar, rural and or uneducated background. ( My parents would fall in the same blue-collar and rural categories.) 

 2) Criminals with the middle name Wayne are rarely convicted of embezzlement, insider trading or securities fraud.

3) Non-criminals with the name of Wayne tend to work in fields such as used car sales or pest extermination or they own liquor stores. You've probably never heard of Wayne's Organic Whole Foods and you never will. Wayne's Discount Gun and Pawn? Bet on it! 

 Now it could be that men named Wayne become criminals because honestly, no one wants to be named Wayne. It has become a sort of self-fulfilling prophesy. Name your son Tulip and he will probably never finish grade school with a real disdain for competitive sports, esp those involving hurling large gym balls at ridiculous velocities. Name him Wayne and he will be casing the local Rob-me Mart by age six. 

 What it all boils down to is this:n Wayne is a redneck name. It's even more redneck when you pair it with a two syllable first name. Even more so when that first name is also of a neckish bent, like say Terry. Not that I know anyone named Terry Wayne - goodness no!  

 I have yet to commit a major crime, however I feel that it is only a matter of time before my cultural destiny kicks in. I'm not a red-neck, but with a middle name of Wayne I am probably one flip of the paranormal switch from the electric chair!

Speaking of electric chairs, meet Kevin Wayne Anders. Anders was arrested for beating, sexually assaulting and killing 6 year old Hannah Mack who was found hung in a garage. Dna evidence pointed to a different killer, but Anders was found guilty of child pornography and sentenced to a long prison term.

It is well known that popular rap artist Lil WAYNE has been in trouble with the law on several occasions. Wayne has spent time in prison for various felonies.

A quick google search using keywords Wayne and murder pulls up countless offenders sharing the middle name Wayne such as the recent conviction of Anthony Wayne Davis. Before his most recent arrest, Davis had spent many years in prison found guilty of rape and murder.

Davis was again arrested for fatally shooting a woman, and made news headlines in early 2017 when he was sentenced to 25 to life for murder and other charges.

The list of offenders with the middle name Wayne goes on and on.

Robert Wayne Wilson Jr. is also in recent news after being sentenced to 103 years for aggravated child rape. Convicted of 12 counts of committing lewd acts with a minor child. You are staring into the eyes of a ruthless child molester.

Randolph County Sheriff's deputies arrested Darren Wayne Gentle, 47, of Ahville on multiple charges, according to a Randolph County news release. He faces charges of first degree rape, crimes against nature, WTF!!! Two counts of first degree kidnapping top it off. Darren Wayne? That's a little unsettling to me as I share his first two names. Should people with the middle name take concern?

England is not immune to the curse as here is another Darren Wayne! Mr. Mackrell, pictured, has confessed to 18 charges of rape, sexual assault, and forcible viewing and engagement in perverse sexual acts and drugging. In court proceedings it was revealed that he forced underage children to commit sexual acts on one another under the influence of meth while we watched for six hours before joining in and committing his evil acts.

Again, this list goes on and on.

Former Oakland Raider football star Anthony Wayne Davis was found guilty on three separate murder charges, with special circumstances of kidnapping and torture. Another middle name Wayne killer? Prosecutors said this guy is beyond twisted.

This asshole is known as the Alabama Halloween Murderer. He was listed at one time in the Guiness book of World Records for receiving one of the longest prison sentences in history: 2 life sentences plus 10,000 years!

His name? Dudley Wayne Kyzer.

What's this douche-bag going to be doing for the next 21,000 years? Rotting in a maximum security prison!

Allan Wayne Mclauren was sentenced to an amazing length of time for beating, raping, and murdering an elderly woman in my hometown of Sand Springs Oklahoma.

Oklahoma City POLICE OFFICER Darren Wayne Martin was arrested for assault and battery!

This Arkansas idiot was arrested on child porn, rape, and being connected to a fatal mobile home fire! His name? Darren Wayne Hayes!

The number 18 appears to be associated with negativity on many websites specializing in numerology. The number 18 is considered a material number, not a spiritual one. I have read that names that total up to 18 face a greater chance to obtain money illegally by war or robbery. They are more likely to die by explosions or fire. The number 18 resonates with a higher chance of death by calamity.

Number 18 people tend to get what they want by using the act of surprise. People who have the number 18 in their names are even more worse off if born on the 18th. Unable to express their feelings and desires, they project these emotional instabilities and sexual urges onto other people. Those with 18 in the numerology can be hyper sexual, and sometimes sadistic. Many websites go so far as to urge readers with the 18 to CHANGE THEIR NAMES ALTOGETHER.

The compound number 18 reduces to the number 9, Wayne's singe number in Chaldean numerology.  9 influences include the tendency to be impulsive, making snap decisions later regretted. It has long been thought since time immemorial that names hold power, and they can also be cursed. Those with the middle name Wayne seem to be cursed with alcohol dependency and drug addictions. Consider the etymology of the word WANE which holds the same pronunciation: decline, failure, diminution, to sink, to reach an end. a lacking, deficient, to lose power, to fade away. 

In summary there appears to be curse on the name Wayne that cab adversely affect those born with the name, and for whatever reason can have a predisposition for heinous crimes and maliscious behavior and intent. Be it a curse, or the negative effects of numerology and gematria, there is somethinbg paranormal going on here. DO you know someone with the middle name Wayne? You might want to watch them out of the corner of your "mind's eye!" 

Thoughts on the ideomotor effect.

I do believe the ideomotor effect to be involved in Ouija phenomenon, but I also do not think it can totally explain the information exchange. I think there is more going on than tiny involuntary muscle movements. When entire conversations are taking place involving invisible participants that reveal unknown knowledge to the players, are we to dismiss the statistical probability of such an exchange? In my own Ouija experiences I noticed the mis-spelling of words that I know I would never misspell. Does the ideomotor effect explain what part of the brain that caused the forced inaccuracy?

How do automated movements facilitate abilities to suddenly spell words and sentences in an unknown foreign language such as Hebrew or Latin? Or how sentence structure can reveal slang or old style dialects? How does science explain that an automatic response such as in play with Ouija board often produces a very powerful and negative exchange that can harbor abhorrent thoughts and perverted responses that can come across as shocking to the participants. If a dowsing rod could talk, would it call you a whore and threaten to plow you to a fiery demise?

In situations where say 3 or 4 participants are placing their fingers on a planchette, how is that the ideomotor effect works on each player individually? One would have to conclude that at the very microsecond the question is being asked, the entire facilitated auto response would have to be magically resolved into an unknown group effect. How does this magical subconscious mechanism engineer statements and ramblings NOT pertaining to questions asked?

Would it not be more scientific to expect that these 3 or 4 players who are spelling words and complex sentence structures using subconscious and independent muscle movements to actually spell non meaningful gibberish as opposed to  clever and immediate responses? I have seen immediate and witty abbreviations implemented into conversations during Ouija sessions in which the planchette moved with such speed and quickness one would quickly lose train of thought, and required an outside observer writing down the words during the session just to remember the exchange taking place.

While I do not believe the ideomotor effect to be a concrete and total explanation for Ouija phenomena, i do view the effect to be a necessary byproduct or conduit for spiritual communication. While evidence of full blown physical spirit possession seems to be a very rare occurrence in comparison to a diabolical oppression, is it really too far fetched to believe in the possibility that other worldly beings from another dimension can somehow channel information through our brains telepathically?

Law of attraction advocates speculate that when it comes to Ouija,  you are simply mirroring your expectations.  That fear will produce fear.  But in many Ouija sessions fear seems to be brought about by the explicit messages themselves as opposed to one's calm and neutral demeanor prior to,  and during the session.  Thousands of people describe the eerie feeling of being watched,  or a presence that cannot be seen but rather "felt"... not unlike a cold wind.  How can the ideomotor effect explain why it is so common for there to be such an evil or unpleasant reaction? 

In my research of Ouija sessions many participants describe a strange buzzing sensation, similar to what people refer to as a " ghost cellphone" vibration. Is this also explained by the ideomotor effect? 

I would agree in the possibility that there are so many negative experiences and exchanges with the "Z-entities" that there must be some conscious and or unconscious recognition bias going on thru the collective human unconscious. The Hollywood demonization of the Ouija is also at play. ... but although sensationalized,  are films such as The Exorcist not based on actual cases? 

Can science explain how involuntary muscle movements that channel subconscious thought via Ouija lead to people committing crimes and murder after dabbling with the infamous oracle? Is it simply hysteria brought about by auto suggestion?

The curious tragedy and story of the  "Zo" people of Burma, The "Kings of Zozo,"....the secret societies of "Zo" shamans in Africa that were recently exposed to have actually help spread the Ebola virus due to their healing techniques, etc. The Oz / Zo phenomena described by Jake Kotz in his blog Rant in Z minor point to some kind of weird synchromystic type of paradigm going on. The historic evidences of Zozo as being a demonic entity before the modern invention of the Ouija is perhaps nothing more than a very extraordinary coincidence, but one worthy of examination and educated speculation.

Serial killers and rapists often talk about the voices in their heads that prompt them to commit horrific crimes.  Is it possible these "voices" are sadistic impulses and communication exchanges from denizens from other dimensions?  These messages could be likened to a radio transmission.  To the primitive un knowing mind,  the vocalizations appear to be originating from the device,  but we know the messages and sounds are just waves of sound being transmitted. 

Researchers at UBC have been using Ouija boards to explore the human sub conscious.  I interviewed several of them recently on my radio show, and while the scientists do not attribute anything paranormal to their research,  their findings are anything but normal.  Participants were able to answer questions with higher accuracy on subjects they had no prior knowledge to while using the Ouija,  than when NOT using the board.  The resulting percentage increase in correct answers was significant enough to indicate a yet to be identified mechanism at play. How does the ideomotor effect allow us to answer questions correctly with no prior knowledge to the subject matter? 

So it would seem regardless on which side of the fence you sit......skeptics and believers alike agree that the planchette moves because of impulses unconsciously generated by the participants. This fact in my opinion does not change the paranormality of Ouija phenomena because I have yet to read how science explains how it all works.

Aleister Crowley said the demons of the Goetia are real. ... they exist in the human mind.  Jung described hidden archetypes such as the dark shadow that exists inside every person.  How do these diabolical beings surface during Ouija?  Surely it's JUST tiny muscle movements right?
